Luke Debruin Lancaster PA Accident, Obituary: Beloved Physician Assistant Dies in West Lampeter Township Crash

The Lancaster community is grieving the tragic loss of Luke Debruin, 25, who passed away Friday night following a fatal head-on collision in West Lampeter Township. The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Luke was one of two individuals who died at the scene after emergency responders were called to the intersection of Lampeter Road and Paramount Avenue around 9:40 p.m.

Authorities reported that the crash involved a Honda Civic and a Nissan sedan. Luke, who was driving the Honda, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Terry Thomas, 64, of Hamburg, a passenger in the Nissan, also succumbed to her injuries. Two additional occupants from the Nissan were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and police are asking witnesses to come forward with any information.

Outside of his career, Luke was cherished for his kindness, his steady presence, and the meaningful relationships he built with those around him. His sudden loss has left family, friends, and the Lancaster medical community heartbroken.
